Through the Desert, or Durche die Wuste, is an area control game with a desert caravan theme.
Each player tries to create the longest caravans in each of five colors, while connecting to oases, surrounding or passing over waterholes, and surrounding areas.
The game board is heavy card board with desert artwork around an irregular hex grid. The camels are molded plastic in pastel colors. Score markers are medium cardstock.
