The Great Dalmuti is a card game with a nobility theme.

The cards have values, 1-13. and two jokers. The number of cards for each value is the value. All the cards are distributed to all the players.

One player is the greater dalmuti. One player is the lesser dalmuti. One player is the greater peon. The rest of the players are merchants.

Unless any merchant has the two jokers, setup continues like this: The Great Dalmuti gets the two lowest cards from the lesser dalmuti. The greater peon gives his lowest card to the lesser dalmuti, and gets a card from the lesser dalmuti.

Basically, A player leads with any number of cards with a matching value. Each player must then match the number of cards with a lower value. Last player to do so leads the next round. first player to go out, wins.

The order players go out, determines the starting positions for the next game. Players keep playing until they want to stop.
