I wrote a program to find all the possible paths in Elfenland, considering passing through the originating city (represented by "0") twice and all others only once... there are 589 possible paths.

If I additionally go twice through the city (represented by "19") next to the city with only one road in, there are 44,159 possible paths.

Well, the code could be improved by giving weights to certain paths, and to take into account whether it's possible to collect the cards and chits to traverse all those paths.

1 Robo Rally
1 North American Rails
1 Naval War

1 Lord of the Rings
1 Kill Doctor Lucky
1 Ivanhoe
1 Goldland
1 Federation Space
1 Dice Run
1 Deluxe Illuminati
1 Dealing With Murder
1 Capitol
1 Call My Bluff
1 Advanced Civilization
1 Acquire
1 (The New) Entdecker

Looks like a quarter dedicated to variety. The high numbers for Poker, Magic, Dvonn and Pylos is indicative of how quick a game is and the desire to quickly try again.

Here is a list of games I played throughout the entire year of 2002:

46 Crokinole
This is here because I played it a lot during my week-long trip to Rochester.
I brought it to many of my friends' houses. I don't really play it much
because I like strategy games better.

27 Magic: the Gathering CCG
I've been getting a lot of games in this year, after minimizing how much I've
played since 1997. My interest in German board games also got me to look back
at Magic. I'm happy to say I didn't spend much money on the game -- revisiting
old cards against new decks is just as fun.

21 Poker
Lots of quick games of Poker thanks to Chip's poker nights. Though, we'd
rather be playing Magic.

20 Icehouse Volcano
This is a great puzzle game. It also looks nice with my custom board and
Icehouse pieces. I enjoy this greatly.

13 Pylos
Lots of quick games.

9 Very Clever Tile Game
A favorite strategy game. And it's a Cheapass Game to boot.

9 Star Wars Epic Duels
Players tend to get into the theme of the game, and there's enough strategy
to keep it interesting.

9 Java
My favorite strategy game. I wish I could get more of this in.

8 Carcassonne
I enjoy tile-laying games, so this should be no surprise.

7 Zombies!!!
I enjoy the theme of this game. Now that I'm sure I have a variant that gets
plays down to about 45 minutes, I'll have to bring it out and say
"Braiiiiiiinz."

7 Fluxx
A time killer. I like playing this with kids.

6 Tri-Color Penrose (prototype)
Nancy's prototype based on the Penrose pattern. It's a good puzzle game.

6 Robo Rally
I enjoy the simultaneous moves of this game. It's a controlled chaos. Gotta
figure out how to keep players from making unintentional mistakes. I wish the
cards said "Turn Clockwise" and "Turn Counterclockwise" instead of "Turn Right"
and "Turn Left." That could alliviate some problems.

6 Nexus
A cheap tile-laying game. How could I go wrong?

6 Max-Ax (prototype)
A game I created for my friend's daughter to help with math. I hope to get
the design on a web-page sometime.

6 Entdecker
A pretty tile-laying game. I really like this as well as The New Entdecker.

6 Button Men
A quick game to play while waiting for another game or dinner at a restaurant.

6 Acquire
I like this game, but I've yet to get how to win.

5 Stephenson's Rocket
Tough to catagorize. It's a tile-laying game, but plays like Acquire. It's
completely strategy-based with a theme, so I like that about it.

5 Siesta
An absract game that's engaging.

5 Nautilus
A strategy game with pretty bits. I very much like exploration themed games.

5 Lord of the Rings
This game is fun with people who are into the theme. I feel bad for people
who get sucked into the game without knowing all the rules. They can't make
intelligent arguments about gameplay and end up just going along with the
experienced crowd.

5 Goldland
Another good exploration themed game, but with the fixed grid and tiles that
fill it perfectly, there's little sense of the surprise in exploration.

5 Dvonn
A quick abstract game. Very engaging.

5 Chez Dork
A silly themed card game.

5 Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Like Lord of the Rings and Epic Duels, a good game with a fun theme for those
who can get into it.

4 Star Wars: A Queen's Gambit
I really like this game for the bits and mechanics. I'd enjoy playing this
more.

4 Settlers of Catan
Classic. The game that got me into the whle board gaming scene.

4 Royal Turf
A fun, straight-forward game if played with lots of people.

4 Icehouse Zendo
This is a fun deductive (maybe even inductive) game.

4 Formula De
A fun dice-rolling game.

That's all I want to comment on. Well, there are a few odds and ends I want to mention further down along the list.

4 Diceland, by Cheapass Games
4 Chrononauts
4 Buffy the Vampire Slayer CCG

3 Werewolf
3 Triangoes
3 Quintillions
3 Pueblo
3 Kill Doctor Lucky
3 Icehouse Pikemen
3 Ian's Elements (prototype)
3 Hack
3 Carcassone: Hunters and Gatherers
3 Bohnanza
3 Before I Kill You, Mr. Bond... (Better Edition)

2 When Darkness Comes
I like this game. It adds a pleasant level of comlexity to Zombies!!!
extending it to the realm of role-playing.

2 Web of Power
2 Tikal
I like the exploration aspect of this game. Wish I played it more.

2 Thin Ice
2 Super Deluxe Quintillions
A real brain-burner. Takes a lot of time to play, so I don't get to play it
much.

2 Lunch Money
2 Lumberjack
2 Guillotine
2 Great Brain Robbery
2 Frag
2 Deluxe Illuminati
2 Cube Farm
2 Chaos Tiles
2 Call My Bluff
2 Beer: the Card Game
2 Bausack
2 Aquarius
2 Apples to Apples
2 Agora

1 Wyatt Earp
1 Wiz War
1 Vortex
1 Ursuppe
1 Uno
1 Tri-Color Penrose Diamonds
1 Traume Fabrik
1 Trans America
1 Torres
1 Top Secret Spies
1 Tigres & Euphrates
1 Through the Desert
1 The Big Cheese
1 Tantrix
1 Streetcar
1 Starbase Jeff
1 Shogun/Samurai Swords
I'd like to try this more. It's the only Risk-variant that I enjoyed.

1 Shark
I'd like to try this more. It reminds me of Acquire, but makes more sense
for the theme of corporate take-overs.

1 Set
1 Samurai
1 Roundominos
1 Risk 2210
1 Red Dwarf The Card Game
1 Puerto Rico
1 Proton

1 Ivanhoe
1 Honor of the Samurai
1 Groo
1 Grave Robbers From Outer Space
1 Go
1 Geeks: the Convention
1 Fruit Fight (prototype)
1 Frieght Train
1 Fossil
1 Foreign Exchange
1 Federation Space
1 Family Business
1 Fabrik der Traume
1 Evo
1 Elfenland
1 Dungeons and Dragons
1 Drakon
1 Dragon's Gold
1 Dragon Delta
1 Dog's Life
1 Dice Run
1 Devil Bunny Needs a Ham
1 Dealing With Murder
1 Cranium Kid's Cadoo
1 Conquest
1 Citadels
1 Chez Geek
1 Catch Phrase
1 Capitol
1 Burn Rate
1 Battle Line
1 Atlantis: Pathways of the Deep
1 Advanced Civilization
I'd like to try this again. It's engaging, even for the long time it takes
to play.

1 Abduction
1 (The New) Entdecker

That's 437 games played during the year.
